In preparation and anticipation of an upcoming trip to Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany & France with a list of places to visit longer than the Ruhr river itself... I took it upon myself to revisit one of my favourite visits of last years trip, ECVB power station.
Speeding towards Dover in the middle of the night, ECVB was our first target for the week away last year.
Rolling out of the 5am drizzle and mist, this hulking monster came into view and immediately took our breath.
The coal fired power plant itself comprises a large boiler house and huge turbine hall. They both sit disused next to a live Electrabel Gas station.
