Pepper Royd Mill, Dewsbury.

A Mill in Dewsbury, has an interesting ornamental stone mill on the ground floor/outbuildings, who’s prior operation had formed a shedload of horrible claggy mud, which almost prevented our access (and i ended up ankle deep in, oh how we laughed...)

The Mill is currently up for demolition with planning in for 22 hooses to replace the Mills and stone mason’s workshops. Looks like it was built in Victorian times, like a lot of local mills.

There were a few interesting bits and bobs, the main buildings had clearly been used as a haulage spares warehouse at some point, judging by documents, until about 1999.
