After some protracted wandering/falling around some woods I finally made my slippery, steep and extremely dirty descent into this ancient abandoned Victorian coal mine.
Some beautiful industrial relics lie within, such as horse drawn timber coal tubs, original coal saws and clog & hoof marks from those who will have originally worked this mine... this place is massive, and scary.
